In order to increase diversity at the FMEA All State ensembles, The John & Dorothy Jarvis Music Education Foundation All State Audition private lesson scholarship was created for minority and underprivileged students who show desire, potential and commitment to auditioning for the FMEA (Florida Music
Educators Association) All-State Ensembles who otherwise would not participate in private lessons due to financial limitations.
